AS-Builts                                                 

Upon completion of construction, most contractors or municipalities require an "As-Built" or "Record Plan" that has been prepared by a surveyor. All key elevations, per the approved site plan, for utilities, storm water facilities and/or any improvements need to be field verified and platted. The survey will show the location and depths of utilities. These types of As-Builts are routinely performed throughout the construction process. They are updated as needed from stake-out thru completion of construction.

Another need for As-Builts is for the location and distances of anchor bolts for the fabrication of steel. These usually require a tolerance of less than 1/8th of an inch.

At NavTech we have been performing these type of surveys for bridges, power plants, roller coasters or any time a tolerance is extremely critical for the completion of a project.
